The two sides also signed an agreement on mutual administrative assistance in customs matters, along with an agreement between the Egyptian and Moroccan governments on avoiding double taxation and preventing income tax evasion.
The discussions reflected a shared commitment to addressing the existing trade imbalance, which has long tilted in Egypt’s favor, and building a more equitable and strategic partnership.
